Embrapa Extends Application Deadline for Competitive Exam Offering Salaries up to R$ 12,000
The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) has announced an extension of one week for the registration period of its public competitive exam. Candidates now have until January 14 to apply for one of the 1,027 available positions, which offer salaries reaching up to R$ 12,814.61. Previously, the deadline was set for January 7.
Additionally, the deadline for the payment of registration fees has also been extended, allowing candidates to make payments until February 4. Interested individuals can submit their applications via the website of the Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisa em Avaliação e Seleção e de Promoção de Eventos (Cebraspe), which is the organizing body for the examination.
The competitive exam is scheduled to take place on March 23, 2025, and this is the first such opportunity in 15 years for prospective candidates.
Salary ranges for the various positions are as follows:
- Researcher: R$ 12,814.61
- Analyst: R$ 10,921.33
- Technician: R$ 5,556.81
- Assistant: R$ 2,186.19
In addition to competitive salaries, Embrapa offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical assistance, life insurance, transportation vouchers, meal assistance, and a cafeteria service. The work schedule for these positions is set at 40 hours per week, and candidates will have the option to select their preferred workplace location during the application process.
