Recent footage has surfaced showing the immediate aftermath of a devastating earthquake that struck Tibet, China, with a magnitude of 7.1. The quake occurred on the morning of January 7, 2025, and has resulted in tragic casualties, with at least 126 confirmed fatalities and 188 injuries reported.

The earthquake's epicenter was located in Tsogo Township, within the Tingri County, a region home to a population of approximately 6,900 people in a 20-kilometer radius. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
