Hygiene Scandal in Clinics

Munich. Hospital hygiene scandal in Munich has seen a clinic director suspended and only emergency operations available in the hospitals in Bogenhausen and Neuperlach.

Due to poor hygiene of surgical instruments in two of Munich's clinics, operations will not take place for the time being. The departments responsible at Bogenhausen hospital have been closed since wednesday. The managing director was suspended for an undisclosed amount of time. It has not been specified when operations will resume at maximum capacity. Patients have not been affected by the disruptions.
